I graduated from Arab American University on October 21, 2025, with a bachelor's degree in prosthetics and orthotics. Through training placements in Jordan, Jerusalem, and Jenin, as well as two months of volunteer work at Al'Amal Hospital in Nablus, I obtained invaluable clinical experience throughout my academic career. These encounters increased my enthusiasm for using orthotic and prosthetic care to help people enhance their mobility, independence, and quality of life.

As an early-career practitioner, I'm dedicated to lifelong learning, professional growth, and advancing the O&P field while pursuing my long-term objective of opening my own center.

Where do you work now?

I am currently seeking opportunities in the Prosthetics and Orthotics field while continuing to develop my clinical knowledge and skills through professional development and volunteering experiences.

What do you claim is your speciality – your O&P passion?

My interest in O&P is using customised orthotic and prosthetic solutions to assist patients regain their independence and enhance their quality of life. I have a special interest in orthotics, rehabilitation, and patient assessment.

What do you like most about practicing O&P?

Seeing how prosthetic and orthotic interventions can improve a patient's self-esteem, mobility, and quality of life is what I find of the greatest pleasures

What frustrates you about O&P?

Some patients' restricted access to advanced technology and rehabilitation services is a problem in O&P. Regardless of their circumstances, I think every patient should have access to high-quality care.

What is your greatest patient story in O&P?

One of the most poignant narratives is a nine-year-old girl diagnosed with lymphatic cancer, who underwent an above-knee amputation. Additionally, she experienced a recurrence during therapy. Consequently, her family resolved to ensure the remainder of her life was filled with joy and provided her with a prosthetic to aid her mobility.

How do you build rapport with patients in your care?

I establish rapport by attentively listening, demonstrating empathy, honouring each patient's objectives and apprehensions, and engaging them in the decision-making process.
