IMEA CPO Perspective
Amputee football is one of the most visible places where limb loss meets public attention. Backing from a musician, a government ministry and a football figure within a week shows how community support can build around a national team. For CPOs in Africa, such moments are a chance to raise awareness of mobility, fitting and follow-up for people with limb loss, though the donations themselves are not reported as linked to clinical care.
