Arcare, a multi-state community healthcare network that began in the rural Arkansas delta and serves patients regardless of insurance status, is recruiting a certified orthotist/prosthetist in Jacksonville, Arkansas. The full-time, on-site role works Monday to Friday office hours alongside physicians, therapists and allied health professionals.

Role overview

• Design, measure, fit and follow up orthotic and prosthetic devices for referred patients.
• Verify patient eligibility and complete delivery and service paperwork.
• Maintain prior authorisation and recertification documentation.
• Handle over-the-counter sales where needed and represent the organisation in the community.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in orthotics and prosthetics at minimum; master’s preferred.
• Licence from the Arkansas Board for Orthotics and Prosthetics.
• ABC or BOC certification and three years of related experience.
