Certified Prosthetist and/or Orthotist Clinician (CPO, CO, CP, Board Eligible) – Hanger Clinic, Bellaire, Texas, United States

Hanger, Inc., the largest operator of orthotic and prosthetic patient care clinics in the United States, is recruiting a prosthetist and/or orthotist for its high-volume clinic in Bellaire, Houston. The full-time role has a strong paediatric caseload through a partnership with Texas Children’s Hospital, a focus on upper-limb prosthetics, and no on-call duties.

Role overview

• Provide prosthetic and orthotic care to a diverse population, with an emphasis on children.
• Manage specialised upper-extremity prosthetic cases.
• Design, cast, fit and align devices, adjusting for fit, function and comfort.
• Train patients and families in device use and provide follow-up.
• Work collaboratively with hospital partners and referring physicians.

Requirements

• Certification as a CPO, CO or CP, or board eligibility.
• Paediatric experience is particularly valued.
