Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist – Artalive, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Artalive Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian provider of custom prosthetics, orthotics and foot insoles, including bionic, microprocessor and cosmetic devices, is recruiting a certified prosthetist and orthotist. The full-time, on-site role is based at the company’s appointment-based clinic in Kuala Lumpur.

Role overview

• Assess patients’ functional needs through clinical evaluation and gait analysis.
• Design, fabricate, fit and adjust custom prostheses, orthoses and insoles.
• Educate patients, monitor outcomes and document clinical findings.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and other healthcare providers.
• Keep up to date with new technology and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in prosthetics and orthotics or a closely related field.
• Professional P&O certification with registration, or eligibility, with recognised professional bodies.
• Competence in prosthetics, upper- and lower-limb and spinal orthotics, and gait analysis.
• Clinical or rehabilitation experience, ideally including bionic and microprocessor devices.
