Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics (CPO), a growing outpatient O&P provider, is seeking an ABC-certified Prosthetist/Orthotist for its clinic in Davenport, Iowa. The full-time role covers upper and lower limb prosthetics and custom orthotics in collaboration with physicians and therapists.
Role overview
- Carry out patient evaluations, gait analysis and functional assessments to set treatment plans
- Design, fit, align and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices
- Educate patients and carers on device use and long-term care
- Coordinate care with physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and case managers
- Keep documentation compliant with Medicare, ABC and state requirements, and build referral relationships
Requirements
- ABC certification in prosthetics and orthotics (CPO)
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Eligibility for applicable state licensure
