Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics (CPO) is seeking an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for its outpatient clinic in Springfield, Illinois. The full-time role covers upper and lower limb prosthetics and custom orthotics within interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams.
Role overview
- Conduct patient evaluations, gait analysis and functional assessments to plan treatment.
- Design, fit, align, adjust and troubleshoot prosthetic and orthotic devices.
- Educate patients and carers on device use and long-term care.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists and case managers and maintain compliant documentation.
- Develop referral relationships and support clinic growth.
Requirements
- ABC certification in prosthetics and orthotics (CPO).
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and clinical training.
- Two to five years’ O&P experience preferred.
