OP Specialty Bracing, an orthotic and prosthetic bracing provider with a strong paediatric focus, is recruiting a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist for its clinic in Danville, Pennsylvania. The full-time role involves assessing, designing, fitting and maintaining orthoses and prostheses in consultation with physicians.

Role overview

• Evaluate and measure patients and identify factors affecting device fit
• Design devices from physician prescriptions and work with physicians on specifications
• Take casts, select materials and components, and fabricate or direct fabrication
• Fit, test and adjust devices, and teach patients how to use and care for them
• Repair and modify appliances and keep patient records up to date

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s in Orthotics and Prosthetics (MSPO)
• Completion of an NCOPE-accredited residency
• At least two years of related experience or training
