Hanger, Inc., the largest operator of orthotic and prosthetic patient care clinics in the United States, is seeking an experienced certified prosthetist orthotist or orthotist for its St. Louis clinic. The full-time role focuses on advanced orthotic care combined with building referral relationships and community outreach in a growing practice.
Role overview
- Assess patients with physicians and recommend orthotic (and prosthetic) treatment options.
- Design devices, take casts and measurements, and carry out model modifications.
- Fit and adjust devices for fit, function and comfort, and instruct patients in their use.
- Provide follow-up with patients and referring physicians.
- Develop referral sources and take part in community outreach.
Requirements
- Certification as a CPO or CO.
- Clinical experience in orthotic patient care and problem-solving.
