Laboratoire Orthopédique Médicus
Laboratoire Orthopédique Médicus, a Quebec orthotics, prosthetics, compression and mobility equipment company with more than 65 years of history, is recruiting an orthotist for its Saint-Laurent site in Montreal. The full-time post is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Role overview
- Receive and assess patients, interpret prescriptions and propose suitable solutions.
- Design, fabricate, adjust and follow up orthoses and other orthopaedic devices.
- Advise clients on medical and mobility equipment such as wheelchairs and canes.
- Manage inventory, merchandising and records, and support sales, customer service and billing.
Requirements
- Quebec DEC in orthotic and prosthetic techniques.
- Membership of the OTPQ.
- At least two years’ customer-facing experience; consultative sales experience is an advantage.
- Strong service skills, precision, dexterity and time management.
