Role overview
- Carry out patient assessment and needs analysis independently.
- Capture shape by 3D scan or plaster casting.
- Fabricate individual orthotic aids.
- Check fit and function of finished devices.
Requirements
- Completed training as an orthopaedic technician (Orthopädietechnik-Mechaniker).
- Some professional experience in orthotic care.
- Sound knowledge of modern orthopaedic aids, manual skill and teamwork.
