Role overview
- Carry out patient assessments and needs analysis independently
- Take measurements by scan or plaster cast
- Fabricate custom orthotic devices and check fit and function
- Fit prefabricated supports, orthoses and insoles
- Work both in the workshop and in the field
Requirements
- Completed training as an Orthopädietechnik-Mechaniker
- Some relevant work experience and sound knowledge of modern orthopaedic provision
- Category B driving licence
