Orthopädie-Zentrum Striede in Kufstein, Tyrol, makes custom assistive devices using modern technology and traditional craft. It is recruiting a full-time orthopaedic technician or master technician for its workshop, working on upper- and lower-limb prostheses and orthoses.

Role overview

• Fabricate, modify and repair upper- and lower-limb prostheses and orthoses.
• Support patients from first consultation and measurement through to final fitting.
• Work with materials such as carbon, silicone and thermoplastics on complex cases.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists and the workshop team.

Requirements

• Completed training as an orthopaedic technician or master’s qualification.
• Solid experience building and fitting orthoses and prostheses independently.
• Manual skill, attention to detail and good patient rapport.
