Luttermann GmbH, a full-service provider of orthopaedic technology, orthopaedic shoemaking, rehabilitation and homecare with more than 1,000 staff and part of the Auxilium group, is recruiting an orthopaedic technician or master technician for clinical field service. The full-time role is based in Essen and advertised via the recruiter TrustJobs.

Role overview

• Care for patients in hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and at home, determining their device needs with doctors, nurses and therapists.
• Take measurements, casts and 3D scans, and carry out fittings and adjustments.
• Manage lower-limb prosthetic fittings through to final handover, gait analysis and fine-tuning.
• Document care and coordinate with the office team and workshop.

Requirements

• Completed training as an orthopaedic technician, optionally with master qualification.
• Three to five years’ experience; for master technicians, transtibial and transfemoral prosthetics including microprocessor knees.
• Category B driving licence; German language skills and, for non-EU citizens, a valid German work permit.
