UKM ProTec, the orthopaedic technology subsidiary of Universitätsklinikum Münster, is recruiting an orthopaedic technician in Münster, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The post is permanent and full-time at 40 hours a week, working closely with hospital clinicians and therapy teams.
Role overview
- Make and repair custom assistive devices
- Fit semi-finished and prefabricated orthoses
- Instruct patients in the use of their devices
- Join ward rounds and liaise with treating physicians
- Work closely with occupational therapy and physiotherapy teams
Requirements
- Completed training as an Orthopädietechniker
- Two to three years of relevant experience preferred
- Confident with plaster casting, modelling and scanning techniques
- Service-minded, independent and team-oriented
