UGECAM Nord-Est
UGECAM Nord-Est, a French health insurance operator running 11 disability-focused health and social care establishments in Lorraine and Champagne-Ardenne, is recruiting a prosthetist-orthotist for the Centre Louis-Pierquin in Nancy. The centre is a rehabilitation facility for adults with musculoskeletal conditions and trauma, with its own orthotic and prosthetic fitting service. The post is a permanent, full-time contract (CDI).
Role overview
- Design, make and adapt custom and prefabricated orthoses, external prostheses and small devices on medical prescription.
- Inform and educate patients and their families on their devices.
- Contribute to patient records and record daily activity data.
- Take part in multidisciplinary team meetings, quality and risk-management work.
- Help train students.
Requirements
- French orthoprothésiste diploma.
- Proven experience is an advantage.
- Teamwork, teaching and communication skills, and IT proficiency.
