Enovis, a medical technology company whose bracing and supports brands include DonJoy, Aircast, ProCare and Exos, is recruiting an Orthotist for its Field Services bracing team in Camden, New Jersey. The part-time role reports to a Field Service Manager and is based in an orthopaedic clinical setting.
Role overview
- Assist with patient evaluations, measurements, fittings and casting within scope of practice.
- Educate patients and carers on the use, care and expectations of orthoses and orthopaedic equipment.
- Review prescriptions and keep accurate clinical documentation for care and billing.
- Explain wear schedules and handle routine patient follow-up queries.
- Coordinate scheduling and billing with internal teams and escalate complex issues.
Requirements
- At least one year providing orthotic, OT or PT services as, or under, a certified practitioner.
- Degree in orthotics and prosthetics or a related therapy discipline.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with DME documentation, coding and billing, and ERP systems, preferred.
