Role overview

• Fabricate, repair and finish custom upper-limb prosthetic devices.
• Take casts and impressions under clinical guidance.
• Carry out laminations, cosmetic finishing and detailed fabrication.
• Modify and adjust poorly fitting or malfunctioning devices.
• Manage lab inventory and equipment and liaise with vendors and manufacturers.

Requirements

• One to two years or more using hand and power tools.
• Background in fabrication, machining, manufacturing or lab-based work.
• Fine motor skills, precision and the ability to work independently.
