Hanger, Inc., the largest operator of orthotic and prosthetic patient care clinics in the United States, is recruiting a prosthetist and/or orthotist clinician for its high-volume clinic in Murfreesboro, in the Nashville metropolitan area. The full-time role covers a varied caseload including prosthetics, orthotics and cranial orthoses.
Role overview
- Manage a diverse prosthetic, orthotic and cranial caseload in a fast-paced clinic.
- Assess patients with physicians and recommend treatment options.
- Design, cast, fit and align devices, adjusting for fit, function and comfort.
- Train patients in device use and provide follow-up.
Requirements
- Certification as a CPO, or board eligibility.
- Clinical and technical skills in evaluating, designing, fabricating and fitting orthoses and prostheses.
