Hanger, Inc., the largest operator of orthotic and prosthetic patient care clinics in the United States, is recruiting a prosthetist and/or orthotist clinician for its Santa Fe, New Mexico clinic in the Albuquerque–Santa Fe area. The full-time role involves comprehensive patient evaluations, custom treatment plans and device provision within a collaborative clinical team.
Role overview
- Carry out comprehensive patient evaluations and build custom treatment plans.
- Design devices, take casts and measurements, and carry out model modifications.
- Fit devices, including static and dynamic alignment, and adjust for fit, function and comfort.
- Train patients in device use and provide follow-up with patients and referring physicians.
Requirements
- Certification as a CPO, CO or CP, or board eligibility.
- Clinical and technical skills in evaluating, designing, fabricating and fitting orthoses and/or prostheses.
