Hanger, Inc., the largest operator of orthotic and prosthetic patient care clinics in the United States, is recruiting a CPO or CO clinician for its Gainesville, Florida clinic. The full-time role is hospital-focused, with a large referral network, a team of several CPOs and a CO, a full fabrication lab and participation in a hospital on-call rota.
Role overview
- Carry out hospital consultations and hands-on outpatient care.
- Assess patients with physicians and recommend prosthetic and/or orthotic treatment.
- Design, cast, fit and align devices, adjusting for fit, function and comfort.
- Train patients in device use and provide follow-up.
- Take part in the hospital on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Certification as a CPO or CO.
- Clinical and technical skills in evaluating, designing, fabricating and fitting orthoses and/or prostheses.
