Hanger, Inc., the largest operator of orthotic and prosthetic patient care clinics in the United States, is recruiting a prosthetist and/or orthotist for its Lincoln, Nebraska clinic, which is based inside a CARF-accredited rehabilitation hospital. The full-time clinician will work with the hospital’s interdisciplinary teams and an in-house team comprising a CPO, an orthotic fitter and a resident.
Role overview
- Provide prosthetic and orthotic care to patients of all ages with varied clinical presentations.
- Work alongside rehabilitation physicians, therapists and nurses.
- Design, cast, fit and align devices, adjusting for fit, function and comfort.
- Contribute to mentoring within the clinic team.
Requirements
- Certification as a CPO or CP, or board eligibility.
- Clinical and technical skills in evaluating, designing, fabricating and fitting prostheses and orthoses.
