Hanger, Inc., the largest operator of orthotic and prosthetic patient care clinics in the United States, is seeking a prosthetist for its prosthetic-focused clinic in Towson, Maryland. The full-time role serves younger and high-functioning amputees through referral links with the University of Maryland, with minimal travel and limited hospital duties.
Role overview
- Treat a wide range of advanced prosthetic cases in an active patient population.
- Collaborate with PM&R physicians, physical therapists and rehabilitation specialists.
- Design, cast, fit and align prostheses, with support from an on-site fabrication technician.
- Provide follow-up and patient education.
Requirements
- ABC certification as a CPO or CP, or a strong board-eligible candidate.
- Experience in prosthetic patient care.
