Hanger, Inc., the largest operator of orthotic and prosthetic patient care clinics in the United States, is seeking a certified prosthetist orthotist for its busy Chula Vista clinic in the San Diego area. The full-time role handles a high volume of custom prosthetic and orthotic work for a growing patient population.
Role overview
- Deliver complex custom prosthetic and orthotic care.
- Assess patients with physicians and recommend treatment options.
- Design, cast, fit and align devices, adjusting for fit, function and comfort.
- Help progress work-in-progress cases through to delivery.
- Build and maintain referral relationships.
Requirements
- Certification as a prosthetist orthotist (CPO).
- Clinical and technical skills in evaluating, designing, fabricating and fitting orthoses and prostheses.
