Ottobock, through its patient care business Wright & Filippis, a long-established prosthetics, orthotics and accessibility provider that joined Ottobock Patient Care in 2020, is recruiting a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist for its Port Huron, Michigan location. The role is full-time, and board-eligible candidates will be considered.
Role overview
- Design prosthetic and orthotic devices and direct technicians in fabrication
- Fabricate where needed to ensure quality, fit and timely delivery
- Carry out fittings, including static and dynamic alignment, and assess outcomes
- Instruct patients in device use and provide post-delivery service
- Supply information to administrative staff for reimbursement
Requirements
- CPO certification; board-eligible candidates must achieve CPO within ABC guidelines
