Role overview
- Evaluate, measure, cast or scan patients and prepare models by hand or in OMEGA software
- Fabricate, deliver and adjust orthoses and prostheses, with instructions and follow-up
- Train and supervise O&P residents, technicians and students
- Complete outcome assessments, L-coding, insurance checks and documentation in OPIE
- Liaise with physicians and case managers and deliver occasional lectures
