Arvind Gupta, senior BJP leader and MLA Jammu West, today inaugurated a Free Artificial Limbs and Medical OPD camp at Fattu Chogan, Kali Janni, here, reaffirming his commitment to inclusive and compassionate healthcare.
The camp was organized by Atam Vallabh Jain Clinic, marking the 449th consecutive monthly limb camp conducted by the organization-a testament to its unwavering dedication to social service and community welfare.
The event witnessed the distribution of 35 artificial limbs (Jaipur Foot), 18 calipers, 2 tricycles, and 4 hearing aids to underprivileged and specially-abled individuals. In the medical OPD section, a total of 224 patients were examined by expert doctors, with free laboratory tests and essential medicines provided on the spot.
Narinder Jain, vice-president of BJP Minority Morcha (J&K UT), also accompanied MLA, Arvind Gupta during the camp.In his address, Arvind Gupta commended the relentless efforts of Shri Atam Vallabh Jain Clinic in serving humanity. He praised the team for their seamless execution of the camp and their long-standing commitment to the upliftment of the poor and marginalized.
He further said, “This initiative reflects the true spirit of ‘Seva’ (service) that our society must uphold. Such efforts bring dignity and mobility to those in need, and I feel honored to be a part of this noble cause.”
Pritul Jain, general secretary of the Society, briefed the gathering about the organization’s enduring legacy of humanitarian work.
