Free Medical Camp for Prosthetic Limb Distribution in Udaipur

Udaipur – A free medical camp for prosthetic limb distribution and surgeries for persons with disabilities was inaugurated on Saturday at the Narayan Seva Sansthan’s Manav Mandir campus in Hiran Magri Sector-4, Udaipur. The event witnessed participation from differently-abled individuals and their families from across India.

The chief guests at the event were Inspector General of Police Rajesh Meena and Udaipur District Collector Namit Mehta, while Kuldeep Sharma, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, and Sonnika Kumari, Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Girwa, were present as special guests.

Guests Interact with Beneficiaries, Tour Facilities

During the camp, the dignitaries interacted with several beneficiaries and toured key facilities at the Sansthan including the caliper and prosthetic limb manufacturing workshop, the physiotherapy center, and the handicraft unit for hearing-impaired children.

The visitors lauded the Sansthan’s holistic and humanitarian approach to supporting individuals with disabilities.

Commendation for Narayan Seva Sansthan’s Social Impact

Padma awardee and founder of the Sansthan Kailash ‘Manav’, along with President Prashant Agarwal, Director Vandana Agarwal, and Palak Agarwal, welcomed the guests with traditional honours including turbans and mementos.

Both IG Rajesh Meena and Collector Namit Mehta praised the institution for its dedicated free-of-cost services to the differently-abled community. They emphasized that the Rajasthan government is actively working on several empowerment schemes for persons with disabilities, and such efforts by non-profit organizations significantly complement the government’s

Collector Mehta took time to interact personally with several beneficiaries to understand their experiences and progress.

Conclusion and Acknowledgements

President Prashant Agarwal expressed his gratitude to all attendees and supporters for their continued encouragement and faith in the institution’s vision. The event coordination was managed by Mahim Jain.
