Gaza's Amputation Crisis: Healthcare in Conflict

Since Israel's war on Gaza started in Oct 2023, limb amputations in Gaza have surged by more than 225%. Gaza now has the highest number of children with amputations, many having lost multiple limbs. A healthcare system that was under already significant challenges before the war following 18 years of blockade, is now at the brink of collapsing.

Amidst these unimaginable horrors, prosthetists and healthcare workers are doing their utmost to continue to care for patients, providing prosthetics and rehabilitation to help people regain their function and live in dignity.

Please join us for a very special event to hear from our Palestinian colleagues about their work, finding solutions in the most challenging situations and how we can support their efforts.
