The I.S.P.O. World Congress is making its return to Europe after ten years, scheduled to take place from June 16 to 19 at Stockholmsmässan in Stockholm. As the premier global event in prosthetics, orthotics, mobility aids, and rehabilitation, it is anticipated to attract over 4,000 participants from more than 100 countries.
"We are honored that Stockholmsmässan has been chosen to host such a significant international gathering. This selection highlights the capabilities and appeal of both our venue and the city of Stockholm," states Anna-Karin Werner, Head of Congresses and Guest Events at Stockholmsmässan.
With the theme "Science in Practice, Practice in Science: Collaboration and Innovation Towards Sustainable Rehabilitation," the congress will emphasize the synergy between research and clinical practice.
Participants can expect a rich program featuring lectures, workshops, and interactive sessions that delve into the future of rehabilitation and assistive technologies. Special attention will be given to nurturing the next generation of professionals through initiatives like the "3-Minute Thesis," a student-focused program, and a start-up zone showcasing pioneering innovations.
Alongside the scientific agenda, a vast trade exhibition will be held, presenting leading companies and organizations that will display the latest advancements in sensors, AI, wearable technologies, and advanced orthopaedics.
The I.S.P.O. World Congress 2025 is organized by the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO), in partnership with ISPO member organizations in Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. The congress will take place at Stockholmsmässan from June 16 to 19.
