Pakistani Company Provides Prosthetic Arm to Gaza War-Affected Girl

In an inspiring act of international humanitarian outreach, Pakistani prosthetics innovator Bioniks has provided a prosthetic arm to Sidra, a young girl from Gaza affected by war. The company shared on Thursday that this milestone was achieved with support from its official partner in Jordan, Mufaaz, and marks the launch of a wider initiative aimed at supporting individuals with disabilities in the embattled Gaza Strip.

Sidra, who lost her arm during the ongoing conflict, is the first beneficiary of Bioniks’ dedicated humanitarian program for Gaza. “This is the beginning of our mission to rehabilitate people with disabilities in Gaza. Sidra’s journey embodies the strength and perseverance of so many in the region,” the company announced on social media.

Bioniks emphasized that its goal is to restore mobility, confidence, hope, dignity, and independence for those affected by war. While specific targets or timelines have not been disclosed, the company confirmed its commitment to a sustained, long-term effort in partnership with regional collaborators.

Headquartered in Karachi, Bioniks specializes in designing affordable, advanced, and tailored prosthetic limbs utilizing 3D printing and smart sensor technology. Renowned for supporting war-affected and differently-abled children within Pakistan, the company is now extending its mission to conflict zones beyond its national borders.
