With generous support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), the Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center Project in Seiyun continued to transform lives throughout October, delivering critical medical and rehabilitation services to 519 amputee beneficiaries from across Yemen.
In total, the center provided 1,925 specialized services, including the manufacture, fitting, and rehabilitation of prosthetic limbs, alongside physical therapy sessions and professional consultations. The initiative served both men and women—64 percent male and 36 percent female—reflecting a wide demographic reach and a commitment to equitable care.

Empowering Recovery and Independence
Each patient story represents a journey from dependency to renewed mobility. The center’s multidisciplinary team—comprising prosthetists, orthotists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation specialists—ensures that every device is custom-made and supported with tailored therapy and follow-up care.
These services not only restore physical function but also help individuals regain dignity, employment opportunities, and social participation—vital outcomes in a country where conflict has left thousands coping with limb loss and disability.

Part of Saudi Arabia’s Broader Humanitarian Mission
The Seiyun project forms a cornerstone of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian initiatives in Yemen, led by KSrelief. Through sustained investment in health, rehabilitation, and community rebuilding, the Kingdom continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting the brotherly Yemeni people.
By focusing on capacity-building and long-term service delivery, KSrelief aims to leave behind not only artificial limbs—but a lasting legacy of resilience, inclusion, and hope.
