Foot and ankle professionals across India, the Middle East and Africa can access a month-long programme of on-demand clinical, technical and business education through FAShow Digital 2026.
The online edition of the Foot and Ankle Show opened on 1 September and remains available throughout the month. Because its presentations are pre-recorded, participants can watch them at times that suit their own clinics, working hours and time zones.
The organisers have already reported delegates joining from the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Malta, demonstrating the international reach made possible by the digital format.
For CPOs and other rehabilitation professionals across the IMEA region, this model removes many of the barriers associated with attending an overseas conference. There are no flights, visa applications or days away from clinical practice. Participants can access the programme using a computer, tablet or phone and select the sessions most relevant to their work.
From gait and orthotics to diabetic foot care
The programme brings together topics spanning clinical practice, technology and business management.
Highlighted presentations include The Basics of Gait with Dr Ivo Waerlop and The Burden of Pain in Diabetic Foot Disease with Professor Caroline McIntosh.

Sessions exploring digital manufacturing and 3D printing may also help clinicians evaluate how scanning, computer-aided design and additive manufacturing can be integrated into contemporary orthotic workflows.
Technology and the clinical experience
The programme also examines how digital tools are changing the management of healthcare practices.
A session involving Clare Braham, WriteUpp and Smarter Practice, Better Client Experience considers how artificial intelligence and practice technology may support more efficient services. Another presentation, 90% Occupancy and Still Broke?, delivered with Plan365, focuses on the relationship between a busy clinical schedule and the underlying financial health of a practice.
These business subjects are particularly relevant for independent O&P and rehabilitation providers. High patient numbers do not automatically create a sustainable service if pricing, clinical time, workflow costs, inventory and administrative processes are not properly understood.
For clinics in emerging markets, the combination of clinical and operational education may be especially valuable. Sustainable services need both sound clinical decision-making and a commercial structure capable of maintaining staff, facilities, equipment and follow-up care.
Designed around international participation
According to the official FAShow Digital frequently asked questions, the platform is available from 1–30 September 2026. All presentations can be viewed on demand rather than at fixed broadcast times.
Access is free for Osgo members. Non-members can purchase a digital pass for £42 plus VAT, which includes the current programme and access to presentations from previous digital shows. Participants can also request a CPD certificate following the event.
Registration remains open while the programme is live, allowing professionals who missed the beginning of September to participate for the remainder of the month.
Relevance for the IMEA community
Online education cannot fully replace hands-on fitting, fabrication workshops or face-to-face clinical discussion. However, it can make specialist knowledge available to professionals who would otherwise be unable to attend an international meeting.
The breadth of FAShow Digital also reflects the increasingly connected nature of foot and ankle care. Gait, orthoses, diabetic-foot management, footwear, imaging, digital manufacturing and practice sustainability are not isolated subjects.
