What do you claim is your speciality — your O&P passion?
My speciality is Orthotics
What do you like most about practicing O&P?
I like practicing Orthotics and prosthetics because it’s about restoring dignity back to life.
What frustrates you about O&P?
Frustration arises in situations whereby you don’t get to see all the relevant patients and this can make one to feel limited sometimes.
What is your greatest patient story in O&P?
The small babies with bilateral foot deformities (club foot). It was a pleasure to see them transform back to normal feet having been there the whole journey as the responsible practitioner.
How do you build rapport with patients in your care?
Building rapport with the patients requires professionalism and assurance to Patients that they are in Good hands and also to remain trustworthy.
