What is your O&P specialty and passion?
For the past two years, I have been working at the Agouza Armed Forces Rehabilitation Center, where I gained valuable experience working with both adults and children, including victims of war. This specialty is very close to my heart, as it allows me to make a real difference in people’s lives, especially in bringing smiles to children and helping patients regain confidence and mobility.
What frustrates you about O&P?
While I am deeply passionate about my field, I have noticed a lack of accessible learning resources and research compared to other specialties. Self-development in this field can be challenging and slow, but I remain committed to growing both personally and professionally.
Your greatest patient story in O&P?
One of the most memorable cases I worked on involved a severely injured officer who had undergone multiple surgeries. He had an intramedullary nail installed to lengthen the stump, but the movement caused painful friction. Through careful assessment and adaptation, we managed to find a comfortable and effective solution that significantly improved his quality of life.
