On 26th and 27th July, a two-day free prosthetic limb transplant camp was organized at Patanjali Yogpeeth in joint efforts of Patanjali Wellness and Uddhar Jefferies, Nagpur, which was a complete success. Organized with the focus on physical and mental empowerment of the Divyangjans, this camp distributed prosthetic hands, feet, calipers and crutches to more than 250 needy people.
Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna were personally present in this service campaign and provided assistive devices to the Divyangjans with their own hands. They boosted the morale of the beneficiaries and inspired them to become self-reliant.

Swami Ramdev said on this occasion, “These people are not Divyangs, but divine souls. They need empowerment, not sympathy.” His message highlights the basic spirit of this event.

This camp was conducted with the help of Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti, Uddhar Seva Samiti, skilled doctors, technicians and dedicated volunteers of Patanjali Seva Vibhag. Along with equipment distribution, services like measurement, fitting, physiotherapy and consultation were also available in the camp, which provided full support to the beneficiaries.
In view of the success of the camp and the positive response of the public, it was decided that such camps would be organized regularly every three to four months.

This effort became not only a support for the Divyangjans, but also a source of inspiration and self-confidence. Also, this event is a symbol of Patanjali Yogpeeth’s unwavering commitment towards human service and nation building.
In this event, the role of Swami Videhdev, Swami Punya Dev, sister Pooja, and Uddhar management team was especially noteworthy. Many service-minded workers including Sanjay, Ruchika Agarwal, Shruti, Pradhuman, Ravi, Divyanshu, Krishna, Niharika, Divya, Deendayal made significant contributions in making the camp a success.
This service work is a powerful example of compassion, cooperation and selfless service, which paves the way for positive change in the society.
