KSrelief Completes Prosthetic Limb Mission for Ukrainian Refugees

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully concluded its volunteer medical mission to fit prosthetic limbs for Ukrainian refugees in Rzeszów, Poland. The week-long project, held from November 17 to 24, 2025, brought together a dedicated team of eight volunteer specialists, reflecting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s deep commitment to global humanitarian action.

Throughout the campaign, KSrelief’s medical team provided custom prosthetic limbs to 20 beneficiaries, offering renewed mobility, independence, and hope to individuals who had lost limbs due to conflict-related injuries. Each fitting was tailored to the patient’s needs, ensuring optimal comfort and function while restoring a vital part of their daily lives.

This initiative forms part of KSrelief’s broader volunteer medical programs, which focus on supporting vulnerable populations worldwide. By extending prosthetic care to those affected by war and displacement, Saudi Arabia—through its humanitarian arm—continues to play a vital role in alleviating suffering and improving quality of life for individuals facing the long-term consequences of limb loss.

The successful completion of the project in Rzeszów not only highlights the impact of volunteerism in medical relief but also reinforces the Kingdom’s commitment to delivering compassionate, specialized healthcare services to those who need them most.
