A landmark Prosthetics Camp powered by Fupro Innovation’s cutting-edge prosthetic technology has been successfully organized across Mongomo and Malabo, marking a new chapter in accessible healthcare innovation for West Africa.
The camp was initiated by the FCMNO Foundation, with key support from Golden Swan, and implemented using Fupro’s advanced prosthetic systems, designed to restore mobility and independence for amputees and individuals with limb disabilities.
Speaking on the breakthrough, Nimish Mehra and Cyril Joe Baby, Co-Founders of Fupro Innovation, expressed their shared mission to redefine prosthetic accessibility with innovation and empathy.
“Prosthetics is no longer just about replacing a limb—it is about restoring identity, dignity, and the freedom to live without limitations,” said Nimish Mehra, Co-Founder, Fupro Innovation.
“Technology means nothing unless it serves humanity. This camp stands proof that innovation can be both advanced and compassionate,” added Cyril Joe Baby, Co-Founder, Fupro Innovation.
With Fupro’s proprietary engineering, lightweight design, adaptive movement technology, and patient-centric customization modules, beneficiaries are being fitted with prosthetics that can support daily life activities—from walking and running to returning to work and independent living.
The initiative also received profound encouragement from Her Excellency, the First Lady of Equatorial Guinea, Mrs. Constancia Mangue de Obiang, whose patronage reinforced the emotional significance of the camp.
“True progress is measured by how we uplift the most vulnerable. Restoring mobility restores hope—and hope is life,” said Her Excellency, during her visit to the camp.
More than a clinical intervention, the camp became an emotional milestone for patients, families, clinicians, and partners involved. The sentiment echoed across the event was clear: “Hope is life.”
Organizers emphasized that the camp symbolizes more than medical assistance—it is a movement toward inclusion, empowerment, and long-term quality of life transformation.
“This is not just a medical camp; it is a deeply emotional moment for all of us,” shared the FCMNO Foundation team. “We are proud to be part of a journey that will soon give many patients a new life—one where they can walk, run, work, and live independently.”
Golden Swan, supporting the initiative through infrastructure and care-driven outreach, reiterated its commitment to global healthcare causes that bridge innovation and impact.
As Fupro prepares for future global tie-ups, localized healthcare deployments, and expanded prosthetic R&D, the Equatorial Guinea camp stands as a testament to how Indian deep-tech health innovation is creating global social impact at scale.
