The Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in Yemen’s Marib Governorate, with essential backing from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), provided comprehensive medical services to 595 individuals throughout the month of June. These services encompassed the fitting and maintenance of prosthetic limbs, physiotherapy, psychological support, and follow-up rehabilitative care. By addressing the needs of people living with limb loss, the center not only supported physical recovery but also helped patients regain confidence and independence in daily life.
This targeted initiative to support amputees forms an integral part of KSrelief’s ongoing commitment to humanitarian and relief programs in Yemen. Through such sustained efforts, KSrelief seeks to bolster the country’s health sector infrastructure and expand access to essential medical resources, directly improving the quality of life for vulnerable populations. By continuing to implement and fund these vital projects, KSrelief plays a pivotal role in easing the hardships experienced by countless Yemenis and reinforcing the healthcare capabilities across the region.
