KSrelief Signs Agreement to Operate Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Centre in Yemen

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has signed a cooperation agreement to operate a prosthetics and rehabilitation centre in Yemen, aiming to expand access to essential physical rehabilitation services for people with disabilities.

The agreement was concluded virtually between KSrelief and the International Association for the Care of War and Disaster Victims, signifying a continued collaborative effort to deliver medical and rehabilitative care in regions affected by ongoing humanitarian needs.

Under the terms of the agreement, the centre will provide comprehensive physical rehabilitation services, including personalized diagnosis, tailored treatment plans, and fitting of various types of prosthetic limbs. It will also deliver functional rehabilitation services for both prosthetic and orthotic devices to support individuals’ mobility and daily functioning.

In addition to direct patient care, the initiative seeks to enhance the expertise of medical and technical personnel through professional training, improving their ability to manage specialized rehabilitation cases.

The project is expected to benefit thousands of people with disabilities in Yemen, supporting their integration into society and contributing to long-term recovery and independence.

This agreement forms part of KSrelief’s broader humanitarian mission to address critical health and rehabilitation needs across crisis-affected communities, in line with Saudi Arabia’s ongoing support for vulnerable populations through strategic partnerships.
