Aries Agro Limited, in collaboration with the Inali Foundation, has successfully provided 70 battery-operated electronic prosthetic hands to individuals with disabilities from underserved communities across Telangana, India. This initiative was carried out under the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme and focused on enhancing independence and daily functionality for recipients.
The distribution event took place at Mahbub College on S.D. Road in Secunderabad, where expert prosthetists from the Inali Foundation conducted thorough assessments and custom fittings to ensure each prosthetic hand met the unique needs of its user.
These modern, battery-powered electronic prosthetic hands are designed to significantly improve recipients’ ability to perform everyday tasks and lead more self-reliant lives. By restoring confidence, dignity, and functional capability, the programme aims to make a meaningful difference for individuals who have lost their hands.
Rahul Mirchandani, Chairman and Managing Director of Aries Agro Limited, emphasised that supporting persons with disabilities and expanding opportunities for their inclusion remains central to the company’s commitment to social impact.
