KSrelief Concludes Prosthetics & Physical Therapy Volunteer Mission in Reyhanlı

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully completed its volunteer medical program for prosthetics and physical therapy in Reyhanlı, Türkiye. The initiative formed part of Saudi Arabia’s broader humanitarian response to support individuals affected by the devastating earthquakes in Syria and Türkiye.

During the mission, a specialized medical volunteer team delivered comprehensive rehabilitation interventions. This included the fabrication and fitting of 59 prosthetic limbs and 33 orthotic devices, addressing the immediate mobility and functional needs of injured survivors.

In parallel, the team conducted 980 physical therapy sessions, focusing on restoring movement, improving strength, and accelerating recovery outcomes for patients coping with trauma-related injuries.

The program reflects KSrelief’s continued commitment to rehabilitation-focused humanitarian care, emphasizing not only emergency relief but also long-term physical restoration and reintegration support for affected communities.

Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, continues to play a pivotal role in alleviating the suffering of earthquake victims across the region, reinforcing the importance of coordinated prosthetic, orthotic, and therapy services in disaster recovery.
